Excitement and pride filled the Coliseum Monday night as the Mountaineers defeated #8 Kansas and the fans rushed the court to celebrate with the team. With this huge momentum swing, WVU is looking to finish out the regular season strong in hopes of improving their seeds in both the Big 12 Tournament as well as the NCAA Tournament.

With only 5 games left, WVU travels to take on the Oklahoma State Cowboys today at 2 p.m. The game is televised on ESPN NEWS.

These two teams have yet to meet  in this roller coaster of a season. This could definitely be the game to watch, as it is the only top 25 match-up this weekend and March Madness is right around the corner.

What to watch for, Oklahoma St: Coming off back to back losses to TCU and Iowa State, the Cowboys are looking to bounce back at home today against the Mountaineers.  OSU leads the series 4-0 against WVU under Huggins which could play in their favor. Le’Bryan Nash has scored double figures in 25 consecutive games.

What to watch for, WVU: Full-court pressure is leading the NCAA in four categories: steals, steals per game, turnover margin and offensive rebounds.  Scoring off the bench has been high this season: 52 points versus VMI and 47 points versus Kansas State.

This game today could really go either way. This game may come down to who wants it more. The Cowboys come into the contest favored by 5.5.
