It was a busy week for WVU in the recruiting process with the Mountaineers picking up 2 commits in OL Jacob Buccigrossi and TE Trevon Wesco. Buccigrossi has the frame to be an instant force at the tackle position while Wesco is a former WR converted to TE.

The Mountaineers have also made the final cut for ATH Paris Ford and DE Nick Coe while failing to make the cut for WR Freddie Swain and DB Damar Hamlin.

Top OL target Josh Ball was a prospect that the WVU coaching staff had at the top of their list but Friday he choose Florida State.

The WVU coaching staff also extended an offer to 2017 WR Emeka Emezie of Marvin Ridge High School (NC). Emezie holds offers from Boston College, Kentucky, Miami, and Old Dominion.

Linebacker Brendan Ferns took an unofficial visit to WVU this past week and now with Ohio State out of the picture, the Mountaineers look to be the favorite.

Another linebacker target Jango Glackin will also be visiting the WVU campus this month with the Mountaineers hoping to seal the deal during the visit.

Bob Huggins lost a walk-on this past week when former Marshall F TyQuane Goard was not granted his release from Marshall by the university.
