Video: A look at what the addition of Will Grier means for WVU

The reaction to today’s announcement that former Florida QB Will Grier will transfer to WVU this season was mixed to say the least. Most questioned how WVU would handle his suspension and how soon the redshirt Sophomore could see the field.

Regardless of the suspension Grier will have to set out the 2016 season due to the NCAA transfer rule. However, as it currently stands Grier will also have to serve the rest of his suspension before he is eligible to play in 2017, that will be six games.

No matter how long Grier must sit, the Mountaineers are gaining an impressive dual threat QB that had set high expectations at Florida. Many have pointed to his freshman numbers as not being overly impressive but much of that had to do with the offensive scheme the Gators ran at the time.

If you have forgotten (or missed) what Will Grier is capable of, here is a video of his freshman highlights from early 2015.
