Al Pogue takes job with Auburn

MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–West Virginia outside linebackers coach Al Pogue is leaving the program for a defensive backs job with the Auburn Tigers.

The position was vacated after Marcus Woodson was hired by Florida State last month.

Pogue was only with the Mountaineers for one season but was well known and like for his high energy and enthusiastic personality.

Pogue is from Mobile, Ala. and served as an assist with Neal Brown at Troy prior to coming to WVU.
