Around the Big 12: Slow Saturday sets stage for Saturday’s Bedlam

Last Saturday’s West Virginia-TCU game in Morgantown was just one of two Big 12 conference games. As the Mountaineers have their final bye week of the season, the stage is set for this year’s Bedlam game and West Virginia will be watching to see what they can do to hopefully, finally take down the Oklahoma Sooners.

Baylor at Texas Tech: Week 11 in the Big 12 was a slow one where Baylor quietly kept their place at the bottom of the conference. The Bears visited the Red Raiders in Lubbock, where the Red Raiders won a nail biter by one point in the final moments of the game. Texas Tech had a goal-line tackle on Baylor and wound up winning the game on a seconds-left field goal. The loss puts the Bears at 1-5 for the season, and the Red Raiders at 3-5.

The Mountaineers have a bye this week as they prepare to take on the Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday, November 28. The game will be West Virginia’s Senior Day, with the time to be determined after the completion of this coming Saturday’s games.
