Currently, the stakes in Big 12 could never be higher, especially with the number of games recently that have been played within the conference. The month of March is approaching fast and it seems like most of these Big 12 teams are ready for the call on Selection Sunday.
Last week, the majority of games were played amongst themselves giving a well-needed boost to the conference overall. This, of course, goes both ways as for every winner, there’s always a loser.
We saw No. 4 Texas go into Morgantown and steal a game from the No. 14 Mountaineers, with a last-second three from Andrew Jones. No. 2 Baylor continued to stay undefeated, beating Oklahoma (76-61) and TCU (67-49).
As it stands, the movement for AP Poll rankings on Big 12 teams hasn’t changed by much. Except for maybe a few teams like WVU who moved up from 14 to 13 recently.
Here’s what to expect for game times this week:
TCU @ Oklahoma – 7:30 P.M
#6 Kansas @ Ok. State – 8:00 P.M
#13 West Virginia @ #2 Baylor – POSTPONED
Iowa State @ Kansas State – POSTPONED
#15 Texas Tech @ #4 Texas – 9:00 P.M
TCU @ #13 West Virginia – 2:00 P.M – POSTPONED
Iowa State @ #6 Kansas – 2:00 P.M
#2 Baylor @ #15 Texas Tech – 4:00 P.M
Kansas State @ #4 Texas – 8:00 P.M
Oklahoma @ Oklahoma State – 8:00 P.M
#6 Kansas @ #2 Baylor – 9:00 P.M
Games this week are looking a little crazy, especially with the couple of postponements that are present in the current schedule. Nevertheless the line-up is going to leave no room for disappointing games this week. As such get ready for the gauntlet-schedule that is the Big 12.
