MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – (August 26, 2021) — On Thursday, it was reported by 247Sports that West Virginia basketball coach Bob Huggins agreed to a contract extension that would take him all the way until retirement.
The contract details are disclosed at the moment.
Huggins will enter the 2021-22 season earning $4.15 million, as his prepares for his 15th season at the helm at West Virginia. Huggins, who won his 900th game in March, extends his contract for the first time since 2017.
As Huggins solidifies himself as a Mountaineer for life, the future hall of fame coach will continue to coach at WVU until he retires.
