BREAKING: West Virginia Receives Another Football Commitment For 2022

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – (July 5, 2021) — Following the commitment of Jacobly Spells on Sunday afternoon, the West Virginia football team picked up a commitment from 2022 running back Justin Williams.

Williams announced his decision at 3 p.m., Monday afternoon on Twitter.

Williams is listed a 6-foot-0, 200 pounds as a rising high school senior. The Dallas, Georgia native, is listed as a 3-star prospect by 247Sports but has been listed as a 4-star on other recruiting sites. Williams is listed as a top 40 running back in the country.

Williams was also considering Louisville, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Minnesota and South Florida.

With the commitment of Williams, WVU head coach Neal Brown and his staff have put together a great summer as they have now 12 commitments form the class of 2022. The Mountaineers should continue to go up the rankings on the recruiting sites once everything is updated. The future is looking bright for WVU football!
