MORGANTOWN, W.Va.–Former West Virginia University center Chase Behrndt is heading to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ rookie camp.
Behrndt played in 33 games for the Mountaineers and earned 22 starts. He is talented enough to play any position on the offensive line but started in all nine games at center this season.
The 6-foot-4, 315-pound lineman didn’t allow a sack the entire season and finished with 19 knockdowns.
He earned All-Big 12 Conference Fourth Team (Phil Steele) and All-Big 12 Conference Honorable Mention (Coaches) accolades this season.
