If you have kept updated on our forum you will remember the Mountaineers interest in SG Maverick Rowan for 2016 and Bob Huggins has remained in contact with the talented guard but now there is a twist that makes things interesting for WVU.

Rowan, a top 50 recruit for the 2016 class, is in the process of reclassifying for 2015 but yesterday released a final list of schools he is considering for next season. WVU has made the final four schools for Rowan and his commitment to WVU would give the Mountaineers one of the best classes they’ve had since Huggins arrival but that is where things become cloudy for the WVU basketball team.

WVU is currently at the scholarship limit and taking in Rowan for next season would mean someone that is expected to be there won’t be. All 4 incoming recruits WILL be on the team next season with the final 2 expected to arrive on campus later this month.

Now there are several options that are being discussed across Mountaineers Nation as to what Bob Huggins move will be if Rowan commits but given what has occurred with Huggins former players at WVU, the Hall Of Fame coach seems to know what’s the best move for WVU even if the fan base disagrees.
