MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — In today’s weekly conference with the media, Neal Brown made it clear that he was NOT a candidate for the head coaching position at South Carolina.
“I’m not a candidate there. I really don’t go about addressing every rumor or anything like that that’s out there,” Brown said. “Just cause I think you’ll spin yourself in a web because I don’t think there’s anyway you can keep up.”
Coach Brown made it clear that he doesn’t deal with rumors or fake reporters.
“It’s funny. Everybody wants to be in your all’s job now because it used to be there was legitimate reporters,” Brown said. “Now, everybody that has a social media account is a reporter.”
As journalists, it’s our job to release facts, not rumors. That’s in the ethical code of journalism and we will always uphold the integrity of our work by publishing factual content.
