Morgantown, W.VA. – January 2020 brought New Years resolutions, likely too much time with family over the holiday season, another loss at the Phog in Lawrence and the latest West Virginia football coach to take a job outside of Morgantown.
Inside linebackers and special teams coach Blake Seiler has accepted a new job at Old Dominion University; defensive coordinator. Seiler and new ODU coach Ricky Rahne have a working relationship that stems back to their Kansas State days
Seiler is the second coach for the football program to depart after the 2019, as Xavier Dye took a receivers coach position under his mentor at South Florida.
With the off-season in full swing this January, the coaching carousel will likely take a few more spins before settling into spring football.
