Darris Nichols To Become Next Head Coach at Radford

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – (April 21, 2021) — Over the early hours of Wednesday morning, it has been reported that former WVU guard Darris Nichols is finalizing a deal to become the next head coach at Radford.

Nichols has spent time at Florida as an assistant for the previous six seasons under Michael White. Nichols followed White from Louisiana Tech to Florida in 2015.

Nichols—after graduating from WVU—returned to become a grad assistant under Bob Huggins from 2010-11.

Radford’s head coaching spot opened up after former head coach Mike Jones took the job at North Carolina-Greensboro. Now, it appears as the keys of the program at Radford will be handed to Nichols.

Congrats and good luck, coach Nichols!
