Daryl Worley inks deal with Panthers

Former WVU defensive back Daryl Worley has signed a four year contract with the Carolina Panthers. The deal is reportedly with $3.1 million.

Worley, who left WVU after his junior season was selected 77th overall in the 2016 NFL draft. The Panthers had traded up to get Worley as a result of speculation he would already be off the board by the time their original selection came around in the 3rd round.

Worley will be given the opportunity to start immediately as the Panthers are looking to rebuild their defensive secondary.
