Da’Sean Butler to coach in NBA G-League

Former Mountaineer and basketball player Da’Sean Butler has announced that he will be coaching this season in the NBA’s G-League as an assistant.

This was announced by West Virginia’s alumni team Best Virginia’s podcast called “Final FourCast,” who Butler helps co-host on twitter.

Butler spent four seasons at West Virginia. As a Mountaineer, he averaged 14.3 points per game, 1.9 assists per game, 1.1 steals per game and 5.5 rebounds in his career.

Butler led West Virginia to the Final Four in 2010, and left behind one of the greatest legacies of any player in recent history. This past summer, Butler coached on West Virginia’s alumni team Best Virginia, as they competed in The Basketball Tournament.
