Phoenix, AZ. – Mountaineer Daxter Miles, Jr. is showcasing his skills in the NBA G League. Over the weekend, Miles put up a career high performance in the Northern Arizona Suns-Lakeland Magic game.
The Suns fell 121-102 in Saturday’s game, but the loss did not shy away from the production that Miles had on the court. Miles scored a career-high 32 points, including eight three-pointers during the game.
With this G League performance, hopes can start to creep up for a potential of a West Virginia reunion on the court with fellow Mountaineer Jevon Carter. Carter was traded from the Memphis Grizzlies to the Phoenix Suns and Carter has had the opportunity to showcase his skills several times early on in the 2019-2020 season.
In five games played in this year’s G League season, Miles has averaged 15.8 point per game, 79 points, and 13 three-pointers made.
The Northern Arizona Suns take on the Iowa Wolves on Tuesday, November 26.
