So Defensively, the Big 12 conference has a few top tens and some top 25’s they can brag about on Defense, with K-State and TCU leading the pack in many categories. But what about Special Teams you ask?

Kick-Off  Returns:

  • 201 is #1 at 27.89 per kick-off return (530 return yards)
  • 277 is #11 at 25.04 per kick-0ff return (576 return yards)

So Special Teams grabs a 1st, a second, an 11th and a 16th……..but overall only Kick-off returns provide anything to brag about.
