Quick Hit: Defensive grad assistant Anthony Leonard leaves WVU for IUP

In a move that went mostly unnoticed former Mountaineer linebacker and defensive grad assistant Anthony Leonard has left the WVU program. Leonard will be the new defensive line coach at Division II Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) this coming season.

Leonard was a linebacker for the Mountaineers from 2006-2010. He was previously the defensive line coach and assistant director of strength and conditioning at West Virginia Wesleyan before rejoining the Mountaineers in 2014 as a grad assistant.
