West Virginia was back in Florida last week to extend an offer to Mt. Dora High School (FL) 2016 center Brett Vy1i4xfbHeggie.

Heggie, 6-foot-4 and 295 pounds has offers from South Carolina, UCF, Indiana, Cincinnati and N.C State, while Kentucky and Notre Dame are showing interest.

Joe DeForest extended the offer to the rising senior who expects to visit Morgantown sometime this summer.

Heggie is looking for the right fit and says education will be a important factor come decision time.

He is rated a 3-star prospect.
