Fall Big 12 Honor Roll stacked with Mountaineer student-athletes

Morgantown, W.Va. – The Big 12 conference announced its fall 2019 academic honor roll earlier this week. The all-conference honor roll shines a light on the student-athletes at West Virginia University, and across the conference, who worked hard off the field to achieve at least a 3.0 GPA.

Out of the 308 Mountaineers who made that list, 78 of those student-athletes finished the fall 2019 semester with a 4.0 GPA.

Chase Harler of the men’s basketball team was one of the straight A athletes. From the football team, Jake Abbott, Jarret Doege, Elijah Drummond, Casey Legg, Graeson Malashevich, and Zach Sandwisch excelled off the field during a fall full of travel across the country.

Out of all sports at West Virginia, the football team topped the honor roll student-athlete count with 44 players earning Honor Roll.
