Florida Safety Impressed By WVU Coaching Staff

When the Mountaineers coaching staff offered safety prospect Cycoby Burch in February they had a plan for his role in their 3-3-5 scheme and want him to be the next great defensive back at WVU. Burch has heard from the coaching staff for quite sometime and continues to hear from them on a daily basis and it’s starting to have an impact.

Burch, a 6’1 190 lb safety prospect from Oak Ridge High School in Orlando, FL was recently offered by Wisconsin.  While he is impressed with the Badgers, he is more impressed with the pursuit of the Mountaineer coaching staff and the relationship that he has built with them, mainly Joe DeForest.

Burch tells BGS he plans to visit WVU in September and continues to state that the Mountaineers are in a great position to land his commitment. He has yet to set a date for his announcement.

Burch currently holds offers from Bowling Green, Charlotte, Georgia Southern,  South Florida, Temple, Wisconsin, and WVU.
