Football player tests positive for COVID-19

Morgantown, W.VA. – Monday marked the official first day for players to be available for voluntary on campus workouts. In accordance with the voluntary workouts, players will be tested daily for COVID-19.

The university has announced that one player has tested positive for the virus.

That player will now go into a 14-day period of isolation and the university will begin its contact tracing program and mandate that any other players whom have come in contact with the positive player will also be required to socially isolate for 14 days.
