Former Mountaineer Clint Trickett Lands Coaching Job

Former Mountaineer QB Clint Trickett has been hired as the quarterbacks coach at East Mississippi Community College according to multiple sources.  EMCC is coming off a perfect season that ended with the Lions winning the NJCAA national championship. The Lions have won the National Junior College Athletic Association National Championship three out of the last four years.

Trickett announced before the Liberty Bowl this past season that his playing career had come to an end after suffering multiple concussions over the last two seasons. Clint’s father is currently the offensive coordinator at Florida St while his older brother Travis is the co-offensive coordinator at Samford.

Trickett transferred to WVU from Florida St where he played in 19 career games as a Mountaineer.
