Full List of WVU Class of 2022 Football Commitments

With today being the day many high school athletes have been waiting for, West Virginia rounded out a stellar class with 22 players signing on Wednesday.

The group includes 22 players, 11 different positions, with the players coming from 15 different states and in total three countries.

Head coach Neal Brown said “special day for us here at West Virginia, really a special day for any prospect that’s signing,” Brown said. “This is a group we’re really excited [about]. It’s been a group we’ve put countless time into. It’s a group thankfully we got to evaluate most of them. From camps to going out and seeing them play this fall, then they were able to come on campus.”

Jeremiah Aaron- Wide Receiver
Aaron is a WR from Pearland, Texas and attended Navarro CC before committing to West Virginia. Aaron is 5-foot-11, 190 pounds.

Mumu Bin-Wahad- Cornerback
Bin-Wahad is a 5-foot-11, 180 pound guy who is from Atlanta, Georgia, and currently attends Grayson HS.

Aric Burton- Defensive Lineman
Burton is a 6-foot-5, 215 pound lineman who is one of WVU’s international recruits. Burton is originally from Germany, but played his high school ball at Clearwater Academy International in Florida.

Raleigh Collins III- Linebacker
Collins is a 5-foot-10, 195 pound linebacker and he is from Delaware. Collins went to Neumann Goretti HS in Philadelphia, but is from Newark, Delaware.

Lyn-J-Dixon- Running Back
West Virginia relied on the transfer portal to get the 5-foot-10, 195 pound back. Dixon is from Butler, Georgia, attending Taylor County HS before attending Clemson.

De’Carlo “CJ” Donaldson Jr.- ATH (Athlete)
Donaldson is a big presence on offense, listing at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds and is from Miami, while attending Gulliver Prep HS.

Maurice Hamilton- Offensive Line
A big presence on the offensive line is just what Hamilton brings. Standing at 6-foot-4 and coming in at 335 pounds, Hamilton is from Cleveland, Ohio, where he attended Cleveland Heights HS.

Charlie Katarincic- Offensive Line
Another big time lineman comes in the form of Katarincic. He is 6-foot-5, 285 pounds and he is from Pittsburgh, but attended Choate Rosemary School in Connecticut.

Lee Kpogba- Linebacker
Kpogba is a JUCO kid, hailing from East Mississippi Community College. The 6-foot-1, 225 pound linebacker is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and went to Parkland HS, before attending Syracuse and then going to JUCO.

Travious “Trey” Lathan- Linebacker
Another Gulliver Prep HS product, Lathan is from Homestead, Florida, and is 6-foot-2, 210 pounds.

Zeiqui Lawton- Defensive Lineman
Lawton is coming home. Lawton, a 6-foot-3, 266 pound lineman, he is from Charleston, West Virginia. He went to South Charleston HS, then went to Cincinnati, and is now back home at West Virginia.

Landen Livingston- Offensive Lineman
The 6-foot-4, 290 pound offensive lineman from Leo, Indiana, Livingston attended Leo High School and was an interior offensive lineman.

Nicco Marchiol- Quarterback
Marchiol is a 6-foot-3, 218 pound quarterback from Chandler, Arizona, where he attended Hamilton HS. Marchiol, a four star is arguably the biggest get in this class.

Mar’Ques “Hershey” McLaurin- Safety
Another defensive back, this time it is the 6-foot-2, 205 pound safety from Friendship, Mississippi, who went to Collins HS before Jones Junior College.

Corbin Page- Tight End
Another in state kid, this time with the 6-foot-5, 243 pound tight end, Page. Page is from Huntington, West Virginia, and he attended Spring Valley HS.

Asani Redwood- Defensive Lineman
Redwood is another D-lineman, standing at 6-foot-3, 260 pounds from Suwanee, Georgia, and attended Collins Hill HS.

Jacolby Spells- Cornerback
Spells is another Florida kid, being from Miami and going to American Heritage HS. Spells is 6-foot-0 and weighs 185 pounds.

Christion Stokes- Safety
Be stoked about Stokes as he is from Harper Woods, Michigan, where he attended Harper Woods HS. Stoke is six feet tall, 180 pounds.

Oliver Straw- Punter
The only specialist from this group is Straw. From Melbourne, Australia, Straw is 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, and he went to the Mentone Grammar School.

Sullivan “Sully” Weidman- Offensive Lineman
More O-line talent as Weidman is a 6-foot-6, 300 pound lineman from Franklin, Massachusetts, where he attended Dexter Southfield School.

Jarel Williams- Wide Receiver
An Alabama product, Williams is from Saraland, Alabama, and attended Saraland HS. He is good size for his position, being 6-foot-2, 185 pounds.

Tyrin Woodby- Cornerback
Woodby is a 6-foot-0, 170 pound cornerback from Upper Marlboro, Maryland. He attended St. Frances Academy and is another addition to the WVU secondary.
