MORGANTOWN, W.Va–Gary Jennings Jr. was selected by the Seattle Seahawks with the 120th pick in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
In his senior season, the 6-foot-2, 215-pound wide receiver led West Virginia with 917 receiving yards. He was second on the team with 13 touchdowns. His longest catch was a 75-yard reception from quarterback Will Grier in the Mountaineers’ loss to Oklahoma.
Jennings ranks sixth in WVU history in career receiving yards (2,294) and seventh in career receptions (168).
Last season the Stafford, Va. was native was named an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention.
At the NFL Draft combine, Jennings was timed at 4.42 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
