No. 21 West Virginia continues to slide as the seasons winds down, and that slide continued on Saturday afternoon when the Mountaineer fell 79-59 to No. 14 Iowa State.
The Mountaineers continue to struggle from the field shooting 38%, and they also turned it over 19 times.
“We haven’t made shots all year. We’ve relied on turning people over and offensive rebounds and we got neither,” Huggins said.
WVU returns to action on Monday when No. 8 Kansas comes to the coliseum.
