No. 16 West Virginia rolled on Tuesday evening at the WVU Coliseum over No. 18 Oklahoma 86-65. The Mountaineers were led by freshmen guard Jevon Carter with 18-points and 7 rebounds.

Coach Huggs was much happier with his teams effort following a loss to Iowa State on Saturday night.

“This is a much more competitive group. You don’t want one loss to lead to another loss. If you lose an extrainning game in baseball you don’t want to lose the next day because you lost the night before. When they talk about coaching in the NBA they say you can’t hold onto a loss. That’s really hard for me. I did my best to make sure that they didn’t. I’d like to be 170 going into Texas. I’d be a lot happier.” Huggins said.
