No. 15 West Virginia struggled once again from the field on Saturday including missing 11 of 18 layups in the 87-69 loss to No. 19 Baylor at the WVU Coliseum.

The game started ugly with the Mountaineers down at one point 30-8. WVU was looking to bounce back from a 19 point loss to Oklahoma this week, but the team was unable to respond. Baylor started early in a 2-3 zone but WVU couldn’t make shots.

“I think our effort sucks.” Huggins said.

West Virginia moves to 18-5 overall, 6-4 in the Big 12 Conference.
