Is WVU Coach Huggins Done With The 2015 Class?

The Mountaineers coaching staff had expected to filled all the spots available for next season with the commitment of 6’2″ 4 star JUCO SG Teyvon Myers, but it appears that there could be something happening in Morgantown. WVU has offered 2015 JUCO SG Buay Tuach and he plans to visit the WVU campus on April 17th.

Buay Tuach, 6’5″ 175 lbs, is averaging 16.7 points per game for Northeast Community College (NE) and has been labeled as a physical offensive guard not afraid of contact around the rim but is shooting 39% from 3. The biggest surprise to his game is he finished this season averaging 6.5 rebounds per game.

Another player to watch in this incoming class is a possible transfer. A big name to watch is Robert Morris’ 6’8″ 215 lb freshman forward Elijah Minnie, who was granted his release from there this afternoon (Friday). Minnie was a target of the WVU coaching staff last season but choose to commit to Robert Morris.

The problem that arises with these two options is that the Mountaineers have 3 graduating seniors (Staten, Browne, and Noreen) and have three incoming players to fill those spots (Esa Ahmad, James Bolden, and Teyvon Myers). It would appear that since Coach Huggins staff is still recruiting for this class, there could be a departure on the current roster.
