Jarret Doege Named Starter

Morgantown, W. Va. — September 3rd, 2020

West Virginia football coach, Neal Brown, announced on Thursday night that Jarret Doege will start the season off as the Mountaineer’s quarterback for the 2020 football season. Doege, a Bowling Green transfer, started the final three games of the season for WVU last year going 2-1 beating TCU and Kansas St.

“We went three weeks into camp, had two true scrimmages and one kind of partial scrimmage, and after that Jarret Doege will be our starter heading into the Eastern Kentucky game,” Brown said. “He won the job.”

Jarret Doege will get his first start of the 2020 season when Eastern Kentucky comes up to Morgantown on September 12th at noon.
