Valdosta,Georgia’s own Jayce Rogers just announced via his Twitter page where he will he playing football in college,  and he chose the Mountaineers. A 3-star recruit,Rogers is a 5-9, 175-pound corner who will be looking to make an immediate impact for the Mountaineers.

This brings the WVU recruiting total for the 2018 class to 12 with two of the past three coming from the state of Georgia. It shows that bringing in Doug Belk from Alabama to coach the cornerbacks has paid off when it comes to building relations with players from Georgia and other states that would be considered “SEC country.”
