On Wednesday night, the Phoenix Suns defeated the Los Angeles Clippers 109-101 to cliched their first playoff berth in 11 years.
Former WVU point guard Jevon Carter (2015-18) has played a great role on the Suns this season backing up future hall of fame point guard Chris Paul. Carter is averaging 3.8 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 49 games played. The all-time steals leader at West Virginia plays 11.1 minutes per game in his third NBA season.
The Suns are currently the No. 2-seed in the Western Conference with a record of 44-18.
Carter and the Suns will head to the NBA playoffs when the first round series starts on May 22.
