It has been announced by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski that former WVU guard Jevon Carter plans to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks.
Carter was waived by the Brooklyn Nets on Monday after averaging 12 minutes per game this season. The Nets waived Carter so they could sign former Miami Heat star Goran Dragic.
Carter will officially clear waivers on Wednesday and then the deal will be done.
This will be Carter’s fourth team since coming into the league in 2018. Carter played one season with the Memphis Grizzlies, two with the Phoenix Suns, and half of a season with the Brooklyn Nets.
Carter is joining the reigning NBA champions who are led by Giannis Antetokounmpo. With Pat Connaughton being injured and Donte DiVincenzo recently being traded, the Bucks may need the services of Carter for the second half of the season.
