West Virginia senior linebacker Josh Chandler-Semedo announced he will be returning for his final year of eligibility next season, he announced on twitter on Saturday.
Chandler-Semedo said, “there is still unfinished business, with that being said I am returning to play my senior year. In pursuit of closing this chapter with one more country road.”
Chandler-Semedo was one of the most vocal leaders for West Virginia this season and finished with 110 total tackles, two forced fumbles and two interceptions on the season.
This is good news for a West Virginia defense that looked like it would have a lot of turnover this offseason. Chandler-Semedo has played at West Virginia since 2018.
