During his weekly press conference Mountaineers’ head coach Neal Brown announced that Norwood underwent surgery on his broken collarbone.
Josh made a fantastic play,” WVU defensive coordinator Vic Koenning said. “If you want to say he sacrificed his body on that play, that would not be inaccurate.”
Norwood came to Morgantown from Ohio State and has appeared in 22 games with the Mountaineers. He was one of the veterans on this year’s defense and a definite leader.
Norwood had 64 tackles and one interception this season.
