JT Daniels to make official visit to WVU

Former USC and Georgia quarterback JT Daniels is going to make a visit to West Virginia on April 9.

According to Pete Thamel of ESPN, Daniels’ visit to West Virginia will be his third official visit, after he visited Oregon State and Missouri. Daniels was once a five-star quarterback out of high school, before transferring to Georgia from USC.

Daniels’ last full season came in 2018, when he played in 11 games, throwing for 2,672 yards, 14 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

Last season, he was the starting quarterback at Georgia for the first three games, but then had to sit out due to injury, and could never get his starting job back.

Currently West Virginia is still in a quarterback battle, but if Daniels were to commit to the Mountaineers, he would be the clear starter heading into the fall.
