Junior Day Experience Nabs Maryland WR

The Mountaineer coaching staff was hoping that their junior day experience would leave a lasting impression with the visitors on campus today and it seems to be working. WVU picked up it’s second commit of the day in 3 star WR Marcus Simms.

Simms was blown away by the experience that he got today while visiting WVU and wasn’t wanting to think his decision over, he knew he wanted to be a Mountaineer. Simms is ranked the 21st best wide receiver in the state of Maryland and currently held offers from Boston College, East Carolina, Indiana, Maryland, Pitt and Rutgers. Simms recently visited Penn State and was hoping for an offer from them but after his visit to WVU, he knew the Mountaineers were his choice.

Simms is coming off a junior season in which he had 40 receptions for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns.
