Karl Joseph inks deal with Browns

Cleveland signed former Raiders safety on Monday. BGS’ Ashley O’Brien reported the signing in March but the Browns made it official the week.

The former first-round pick out heads out to Cleveland after four seasons with the Raiders.

In 2016, Joseph was named an all-rookie safety. During his first four years in the NFL, he recorded 236 tackles, 174 of which were solo, and four interceptions.

The former Mountaineer suffered a season-ending foot injury in 2019 but he isn’t concerned about passing a physical.

“No, I don’t think it will be an issue,” Joseph told the media. “I am pretty positive that I will be fine whenever that is and whenever they give us the clearance to do that. Moving forward, I am 100 percent positive that I will be fine with the physical. I will pass it.”
