MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – (April 15, 2021) — WVU guard Kysre Gondrezick was selected fourth overall in the 2021 WNBA Draft by the Indiana Fever.
Gondrezick is the highest picked women’s basketball player in West Virginia history.
In her senior year, Gondrezick averaged 19.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. The guard from Benton Harbor, Michigan was recognized as All-American honorable mention.
Gondrezick will now look to live up to her pick, as her rookie season in the WNBA will start in mid-May.
