MORGANTOWN, W. Va. – (April 30, 2021) — ESPN’s Nick DePaula broke the news on Twitter that former WVU guard Kysre Gondrezick and Adidas agreed to a multi-year shoe deal on Friday morning.
Gondrezick was drafted fourth overall in the 2021 WNBA draft by the Indiana Fever after jumping high up in the draft boards. Gondrezick is the highest picked women’s basketball player in West Virginia history.
In her senior year, Gondrezick averaged 19.5 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game. The guard from Benton Harbor, Michigan was recognized as All-American honorable mention.
Gondrezick will now look to live up to her pick, as her rookie season in the WNBA will start in mid-May.
