The NFL Free Agency opens on Wednesday with multiple former Mountaineers on the list.
Bruce Irvin is the big name on the list, but Adam “Pacman” Jones is creating some buzz of his own. (In case you missed it, we broke down the odds of where Irvin will sign)
Jones enters free agency after playing the past five seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. He is drawing interest from several NFL teams. Some notable names including: Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins, Dallas Cowboys, New York Jets, and the Baltimore Ravens. The front-runner to signing him at the moment are the Miami Dolphins, who have made the decision to let go of Brent Grimes. The Dallas Cowboys are also in the running.
Keith Tandy has improved drastically over the past few seasons with Tampa Bay, and re-signed him on Tuesday before he hit free-agency.
Don Barclay will be a free agent after spending the past few seasons in Green Bay, and acting in Pitch Perfect 2. The Packers have haven’t given any indication on whether they will resign Barclay. If he leaves the Packers, the Ravens could come into play.
Will Johnson and Terrence Garvin are both free-agents after their contracts with the Pittsburgh Steelers expired. Garvin is a restricted FA. There has been no word on if the Steelers will resign Garvin or let him walk. Will Johnson will reportedly test the free-agent waters after he was replaced by Roosevelt Nix at FB in the starting lineup last season.
