Maxwell Award Semifinalists: WVU’s White in, Trickett out

The Maxwell Football Club announced their semifinalists for the 2014 Maxwell Award. The Maxwell Award is given to the College Player of the Year as voted on by NCAA Head College Football Coaches, members of the Maxwell Football Club & sportswriters and sportscasters from across the country.White both Clint Trickett and Kevin White were named to the expanded watch list over the last month only WVU’s Kevin White made the semifinalists list. The list will be cut down again on November 24th to the three finalists. The winner will be announced on December 3rd. White was added to the list on October 28th, which was the last time the Club expanded the watch list before naming the semifinalists this morning.


The semifinalist list, which consists of 20 players, is as follows;
