McBride’s strong night breaks Knicks’ losing streak

Rookie guard Miles McBride had 15 points, as the New York Knicks were able to defeat the Houston Rockets, 116-103 on Thursday night, breaking a four game losing streak.

Due to injuries, and multiple players out due to COVID-19 protocols, the Knicks needed to rely on the rookie in order to help spark their offense. McBride finished with 15 points, on 6-of-11 shooting, while making two three-pointers.

McBride had a good day all around, as he had three rebounds, nine assists and four steals.

This was McBride’s second straight game where he played for at least 20 minutes. On Tuesday against the Warriors, McBride had eight points, four rebounds, and an assist in the Knicks’ loss to the Warriors.
