Men are No. 3, Women No. 12 in latest college soccer poll

On Tuesday, the United Soccer Coaches Poll released its weekly rankings, and both teams for West Virginia moved up in this week’s rankings.

The men’s team moved up to No. 3 in the country, after picking up two wins this past week, while the women’s team moved up one spot to No. 12 in the country, after opening conference play with a win at home against Iowa State.

The men’s team is set to begin conference play this Thursday when they play Akron at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown. The women’s team will be back in action the next night, on Friday, when they face off against Oklahoma at home.
