Miles ‘Deuce’ McBride scores first career NBA points

Former West Virginia guard, and current New York Knicks guard Miles McBride scored his first career points on Friday night in the Knicks’ 118-97 loss to the Phoenix Suns.

McBride scored his first career basket and it was very Mountaineer-esque. McBride deflected a pass, then stealing the ball and driving down to the basket, laying the ball up with his left hand. McBride finished the game with two points, one rebound and one assist in four minutes played.

McBride has bounced around from the NBA G-League this season, but was able to find the floor in the Knicks’ loss. Last season, McBride averaged 15.9 points per game, in 29 games played for West Virginia, before being drafted in the second round by the New York Knicks.
