John Means-The Orioles’ lefty had another big week . Means tossed 5.2 innings on Sunday against Tampa Bay. He picked up the win, giving up one run on three hits. Means struck out a career-high 12 batters in the victory and brought his ERA down to 5.02.

Ryan McBroom- McBroom was designated to an alternate site on the Sept. 12 by the Royals. The move was surprising, considering he was tied for fourth on the team with five home runs.

Jedd Gyorko- The Milwaukee third baseman picked up five hits and a home run last week while driving in five RBIs. Gyorko’s dinger came against his former team, the St. Louis Cardinals. His batting average is .274 on the season.
