Mountaineers climb in latest AP Top 25 poll

Following a week that saw 5 AP top 10 schools lose, including Miami and Duke twice each, to lower ranked opponents and the Mountaineers knocking off #1 Kansas before falling just short at #2 Oklahoma, the new AP Top 25 resulted in some big changes. The Mountaineers climb to 6th from 11th last week. The Big 12 continues to boast numerous teams in the top 10 with the Kansas Jayhawks coming in at #3 and the Oklahoma Sooners taking over the top spot in the nation.

The Mountaineers have jumped 11 spots in the AP in the last two weeks.
