Mountaineers continue to drop in this week’s AP Top 25

Morgantown, W. VA. – After the Mountaineers split their games last week, one home win and one road overtime loss, the Mountaineers fell another three spots in the AP Top 25 Poll.

The Mountaineers are now currently ranked 20th in this week’s poll. West Virginia is not alone in the Top 25, as the Kansas Jayhawks took the top spot (1) from the Baylor Bears this week, who dropped to second in the polls.

Texas Tech is slowly creeping their way back into the rankings with the 22 spot.

West Virginia finishes out their extended stay in Texas with a 7:00 EST tip off versus the Texas Longhorns Monday evening.
