Transfer Quarterback Will Grier, is the early favorite amongst the Big 12 media to take home Big 12 Newcomer this season. Grier looks to have the impact now teammate, Crawford had on the Big 12 last season. The Big 12 media recognizes the potential of the new high profiled Mountaineer. Grier in his one season at Florida led the Gators to a 6-0 start while passing for 1,204 yards and ten touchdowns.
