Mountaineers finish in AP Top 25 Poll

Morgantown, W.VA. – The final AP Top 25 poll for the 2019-2020 season was released Wednesday, the day before what would have been the opening round of the round of 64 for the 2020 NCAA Tournament. Instead, a finite season-ending AP Poll was announced, marking the abrupt end to an odd last week.

The Mountaineers finished the season ranked 24th in the last AP Poll of the season. The Mountaineers were ranked in each week of the season, except for the last week of the regular season as the month of February was nothing short of excruciating for Coach Bob Huggins and his team.

Big 12 foe Kansas Jayhawks took the number one spot for the season, with the Baylor Bears sitting at fifth overall.

The Mountaineers finished the season 21-10 and 9-9 in the Big 12.
